Campmeeting.....

Campmeeting was July 23-July 25.... We had a very good campmeeting! It was great seeing old friends and friends we don't get to see often enough!!!

We celebrated Dawson's birthday at the Cheatham Dam... He's been asking for months now to have his party at the Dam... So we did... We had pizza, chips, and cake... The kids played on the playground and rode their bikes... After Dawson opened his presents, the kids swam for a little bit... Dawson was very happy with his party! It was a little hot, but we made it and he enjoyed it!

Indiana Trip - Code Conference - Saturday July 19, 2008

We attended our last class for the day and then we had church for a little bit and then we left and went to eat at Applebeas for lunch and we got on the road....

Yay! We are headed home!

Dessa, Denise and I were missing our husbands and babies very badly.... We had a great time, but it was time to get home! I'm looking forward to next year!

Indiana Trip - Code Conference - Friday July 18, 2008

We attended two classes this morning and that was it for us.... We really didn't see anything else on the agenda that appealed to us, so we left after our second class and we went to Evansville, In and ate at Olive Garden and then we went to the mall for a little while.

We came back to our hotel and took showers and got ready and went to church for the night service... Both night services were amazing, but tonights was just beyond amazing.... We were so excited to see our girls crying and praying! It was just an awesome service! God is so good!

After church, we came back to the room and we were going to order pizza... Well, it was too late, so we ran over to Arby's and got something and then we came back and we stayed up until almost 4:00 am with the girls... Dessa and Tori went to sleep way earlier then the rest of us...

Indiana Trip - Code Conference - Thursday July 17, 2008

It took me forever to get the girls out of bed this morning... They didn't go to bed until 4:00 am and then I woke them at 5:15 am and they finally rolled out of bed at 10 minutes till 6:00 am and they went and jumped in the van.. We picked up Dessa and the rest of the girls and then we went and picked up Denise... We got on the road about 7:00 am ... We stopped in Clarksville, Tn at McDonalds for breakfast...

We arrived at the Church where the Drama Conference was held around 12:00 pm... We registered and decided to get something to eat before our first class... Our first class started at 1:00 pm, so we ran fast.....

Sha and June Bug fell in love with this little guy in the green shirt... They went up and asked one of his directors if they could take him home with them...

We had classes all day... It was pretty much non-stop... We learned a new sign song... We were all very excited about that! We had enough time to drive back to our hotel and get a shower and get dressed and drive back for church that night. We had a very busy day!

After church, we went to Denny's and ate a late supper and then back to our room for some rest!

We got back to the room and sat around and talked for a long time and then off to bed we went...

and then we had to make a trip to Walmart and yes, they got on the motorized scooter things... Oh my goodness... I acted like I didn't know them!

We leave for Drama Conference tomorrow morning at 6:00 am... My mother-in-law took my boys tonight and I in turn got to take these girlies home with me... Oh my, they are a mess.... It's 1:19 am and they are still up and wild!

As I said in an earlier blog... My best friend was in town this weekend with her kids and we got together on Saturday afternoon for a bit and then we went to dinner on Saturday evening and then lunch on Sunday afternoon... Here are some pictures of the kids from Saturday and Sunday...

Cheatham Dam...

I took the kids to the Cheatham Dam last Friday.... We only stayed about 2 hours, but we got some SUN! We are trying to enjoy our last few weeks before Dawson goes back to school... It stinks for him... I hate his summer has to end...

for Church for last Friday and Sunday nights.

After being gone all day - we came home and the kids played outside for a

good while... Joy went to register for her baby shower and so they

played well into the evening.....
