I love this JAR...

I love this Jar... it sits on top of my desk and I just love it....

Joy brought this turtle up on my back deck today when she dropped Mason off this morning and the kids have had such fun with this poor turtle.... They've ran to the door all morning waiting for him to stick his head and feet out and he did at one point and I went out to take a picture of him and he went back in his shell....

I kept Mason today... Joy had her connect meeting, so she called to see if I could watch Mason for her... Jackson was so excited and he just couldn't understand why Mason was coming on Tuesday... He even told me at one point "Mason is not suppose to come today.. He comes tomorrow..." He's too smart.

Anyway, after Joy's connect meeting a friend of mine followed Joy back over to my house to visit for a while.... She's never been to my house before and since she had their connect meeting in Pleasant View, Tn it's only 15 or 20 min. from my house, so we decided that would be a good time to come! I had a very nice afternoon!

When Heather got off work - we met down at El Rey (family night) for dinner.... and that was about all I did for the evening....

Sunday Evening... We went to Demos' to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom and mom-in-law and some friends of ours went with us too...

Stephen spent the night with us on Sunday night and stayed all day on Monday....... My children just love him... Dawson lovingly referred to him as "Uncle Stephen"... We all started laughing... It was too cute... They have been talking and dating 1 year on Monday... How sweet!

Saturday May 10, 2008... Wild West Pizza Opens...

This is the newest addition to our shopping center in Ashland City... Wild West Pizza opened on May 10, 2008 - I took off an hour early and took Dawson and Brayden... Dawson was so excited... He's been counting the days till it opened and it finally did! He wants to have his birthday party there.... His birthday is still a few months away, so we will see if he still wants to go there by then. It's very good.... Yeah! Some of the Ashland City people are excited... We now have somewhere to go after church sometimes and we don't have to drive to Rivergate or wherever to eat all the time!

After eating at Wild West Pizza, we attended a Funeral for a dear, sweet lady in our Church, Sis. Huddleston! She was precious and her life reflected just that! There was such a sweet pressence at her Funeral and I felt nothing but peace!

Happy Birthday, Miquela

My hubby was off today... Nice surprise... I love spending the day with him - it's another one of my most favorite things to do! YEAH! Anyway we had some errands to run and then we ate lunch together.... and then we had a few things to do at the Church...

Went over to my friend, Denise's house around 5:30 pm to celebrate Miquela's (her daughter) birthday party... Actually, Miquela's birthday was last weekend, but we were all out of town for a youth retreat and so Denise moved her b-day party to this weekend.... Miquela had a slumber party and she invited 3 other girls over.... We had pizza and Denise made her "famous strawberry cake" (best cake in the world - my favorite) We had it last year at Brayden's b-day party and ooooooooohhhh it was delicious!

Jackson walked by Miquela's cake and asked "can I stick my finger in it?" I said no... The next thing I knew Miquela was holding Jackson and she let him put his finger in her cake... It was so funny!

Brayden came home with Dawson - he was not liking all those girls at his house.... He was too funny!

Anyway, here are a few pictures of her night... She's such a sweetie! Happy Birthday, sweet Miquela! We love you!

Thursday May 8, 2008 - Spring Cleaning....

I love it when my house is CLEAN.... I cleaned all day long on Thursday.... I started cleaning at 10:00 am and I didn't stop until 2:00 am on Friday morning. I'm definately not done, but I just couldn't do anymore...... I have a few other things to do, but I will work on them later this weekend.... Just as long I have them done by Sunday - I'll be good! My legs and arms are so sore...

This is what I accomplished on Thursday....

• Cleaned out Closets
• Cleaned out Toyboxes
• Cleaned out Drawers
• Cleaned out from under Dawson's Bed (unbelievable what I found)
• Cleaned Baseboards
• Wiped down all Appliances and Cabinets
• Unloaded Dishwasher
• Cleaned Kitchen
• Laundry (washed and put away)

So... That was my day on Thursday....

Here is my List I'd like to finish by Sunday....

• Clean both Bathrooms
• Sweep
• Vacuum
• Mop
• Give Spencer a Bath
• Finish Laundry from the Weekend

Heather came and worked on removing wallpaper for me on Thursday... Now... All I have is 2 more sections to remove and Dawson's room can be painted... YAY!!!!!!!

IT'S WEDNESDAY!

Yay... It's Wednesday! I love Wednesdays - because that means I'm off for the next two days!

Congrats to LaDessa.....

Congrats to LaDessa! She graduated from Tennessee State tonight... We are so proud of her! Dessa, you rock!

I met Amy at the church tonight and we attended Dessa's Graduation.... I was a little dissapointed I didn't get to talk to LaDessa before we left, but it was too crowded and we couldn't find her.... Anyway, we made a trip to Red Robin for dinner and then home...

Denise and I left on Friday around 5:00 pm... We were suppose to leave Nashville by 3:30 pm, but some things came up and I couldn't get there untill 5:00 pm.... We arrived in Centerville, Tn around 6:30 pm and Cherie had everything done when we got there.... The women chaperones and girls stayed on one end of the house and the men and boys stayed on the other end of the house. The girls had a bedroom and they were everywhere in there and then Denise, me, Amy, Joy, Cherie, Kaeleigh, and Ashley all shared a room as well... We had a good time!

We just sat around the table and talked most of the night on Friday night and then on Saturday we played some games, took a hike, some people went swimming in a water hole and we ate a lot...... Denise made her banana pudding for David's birthday and I made Cherry Crunch and they were both a big hit for all who partook......

Denise and I got up around 7:00 am on Sunday morning and headed back to Nashville to get ready at Denise's house. It was too crowded to try and get ready in Centerville.

We had a good time hanging out with friends and watching the kids have fun!

My brother and sis-in-law went to the dr. today to find out what they are having..... Here is her post she put on her blog today.... So cute... We couldn't be happier for them and US! We got our GIRL! And.... not that SHE will be anymore special than HE will be, but we really wanted at least one GIRL!

We are so excited to report it's one of each! We found out this morning we are having a little baby boy and a little baby girl! We are soooo thrilled!!

David's Birthday!

Thursday night - my mother-in-law fixed supper for David's birthday (his request) instead of us all going out... We usually go out for our birthdays, so it was a nice change and the food was wonderful! The kids had fun as well and they put on a "show" for us too! They are too cute!
