Today was Field Day at Dawson’s School… I had to work, but as soon as I got off work, Jackson and I headed to Dawson’s School to attend a portion of field day….! I’m kind of glad we were only there 1 hour and 15 minutes, because it was stinkin’ HOT outside.
Anyway, field day was really COOL…. ACES did something new this year… they usually have races and that’s it for field day, but this year they rented a big slide and a circus tent that you could jump in and the kids had a blast. They also had sno-cones, face painting and balloons as well…. Thanks ACES for such a FUN DAY for the kids….
I ran into one of my close friends from High School (Jerri-Lynn)… She and I got to talk and catch up on each other lives and so that was nice to reminisce with her for a bit..... Jerri-Lynn Drake and Angie Vick were the only two people I could go home with from school my whole 12 years in school… and I didn’t meet Angie or Jerri-Lynn untill we moved to Ashland City and I started the 7th Grade…. Oh well, my mom was very cautious (that’s okay – I understand)….. The only reason I got to go home with Jerri-Lynn and Angie, was Bud knew both their father’s very well and he convinced my mom – I would be okay…. So…. Needless to say, it took me back for a minute…. Here are some pictures of our day....

After we left the school, David called and he was headed home to mow, so we met him at Strattons and the kids ate a snack… After meeting him, we headed to the church to meet Alyssa and Payton for our Connect Group meeting… We went to the Zoo! We had a great time and then we went to Dalt’s for dinner…
