Dawson had a field trip on Tuesday to Historic Collinsville, Tn..... I used one of my community service days and I got to go on his field trip with him. The company I work for gives each of their employees 2 days per year to use for community service and there are several ways you can use your days, but one of the ways is field trips for your children, so this is what I did and I didn't have to use my vacation or sick time... Very nice. Thanks, HSN! Anyway, we toured the place, rode on a hay-ride and then we had a picnic.... It was a very nice day!

I'm very glad I'm able to attend functions like this for Dawson... I always wanted my mom to come eat with me at school and go on my field trips with me and she was always working and not able too (I understand completely), so I count it a honor and blessing that I'm able to do this for my son!
